About Arabic & Vine Designs

My Arabic designs focus on that classic balance of negative space and bold, dark strokes. I do not believe in over-crowding the hand. If you have a specific vine placement in mind or need a design that leaves room for your accessories, let me know, and we can adjust the trail to fit perfectly.

These Arabic and vine patterns are a go-to for many of my clients in Bangalore because they strike the right balance between subtle and striking. Unlike heavy bridal work that covers every inch, these designs use negative space as part of the composition. You see that leafy trail winding from your index finger to the wrist? It is meant to look fluid and natural.

Why Arabic Henna stands out

  • Flow and Movement: The patterns follow the natural contour of your hand, often using a diagonal flow that looks elegant with traditional or modern outfits.
  • Bold Lines: I use bold outlines for the flowers and leaves, which helps the design stand out even from a distance.
  • Natural Organic Paste: I only use 100% natural henna. This is vital because natural henna takes time to develop, usually peaking 48 hours after application. You will start with a bright orange stain that deepens into a rich, dark brown over those two days.

If you are planning for a specific event, keep in mind that I recommend keeping the henna on for at least 6 to 8 hours and avoiding water for the first 24 hours to help the stain reach its full potential. Whether you want a simple 'Bel' pattern or something more elaborate with shaded petals, we can figure out the right density for your look.
