A gorgeous, full-hand design perfect for an engagement or for the bride's sister. The pattern is dense with florals and traditional elements, giving a rich and festive look.
This is a beautiful cuff-style design on the arm. It’s a great choice for party wear, giving the look of an intricate bracelet made of henna.
A classic "sider" mehndi design with a full palm and wrist pattern. The combination of net (jaali) work and floral motifs is a timeless favorite.
An engagement bridal look with the couple's initials 'P' and 'D' hidden in the design. This is a full, intricate pattern that’s perfect for celebrating a special union.
"Bhai ki engagement" mehndi! This is a fun and personal design I did, showing how you can add text to celebrate family events. The stain is already looking so good.
A beautiful and unique design for a client, combining different styles. One hand has a modern floral look while the other has a more traditional pattern.
A lovely sider mehndi design that extends up the arm. The pattern is a mix of floral and traditional Indian motifs, perfect for any festive occasion.
Sider mehndi with two different but complementary designs. I love giving clients options, like a floral pattern on one hand and a geometric jaal on the other.
Another view of this popular sider design. The dark fingertips and rich pattern on the back of the hand make it stand out beautifully.
A close-up of the engagement mehndi, showing the initials 'PD' clearly. Personalizing henna for a couple's special day is one of the best parts of my job.
About Sider & Engagement Designs
Engagement designs are all about the details that matter to you, like hiding initials in the pattern or matching the 'sider' flow with your outfit. Whether it’s a delicate vine or a bold floral cuff, I focus on every line so the final stain is rich and dark. If you have a specific pattern in mind, let’s talk about how to make it work for your special day.
Why Sider Designs?
A 'sider' or side-hand design is perfect when you want something elegant that doesn't cover your entire palm. It sits beautifully on the back of the hand, often resembling a piece of jewelry. I love creating these because they offer so much room for creativity—we can do a simple, modern Arabic vine, or go for a dense, traditional 'jaali' (net) work that flows down from your wrist to your fingers.
Making Your Engagement Special
For engagements, I always encourage adding personal touches. If you want to hide your partner's initials, a date, or a special word within the floral motifs, just let me know. It turns the mehndi into a little story that stays with you.
My Organic Promise
Whatever design you choose—be it a classic Mandala for the center or an intricate cuff—I only use my own handmade, organic henna cones. There are no chemicals, just the natural goodness of henna that gives you that deep, dark maroon stain. It takes a little extra mehnat (hard work) to prepare, but the results are worth it.
I am based in Bhiwandi but happy to travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for your event. Whether you are the bride, the sister, or the best friend, I ensure the same level of detail and care in every design.
