Planning an event in Mumbai humidity? My updo process starts with a heavy duty crimping and backcombing base for structural height, finished with humidity resistant setting spray. This ensures your bun stays dance proof and keeps its shape from the first ceremony ritual until the final dance, without feeling stiff or heavy.
I treat every bun as a unique architecture project. The goal is to balance the weight of your hair with the delicate nature of accessories like gajras, baby's breath, or hair charms.
My Approach to Updos
I avoid one size fits all styling. If you have fine hair, I incorporate padding and volumizing techniques to give your bun that full, thick appearance. If you are wearing heavy jewellery or a dupatta, I secure your bun with additional U pins and professional grade clips to ensure it can support the weight of a veil or headpiece without sliding.
Floral Styling and Accessories
