Since I am based in Mumbai but travel across India, I am accustomed to dealing with different climates, particularly humidity. I use professional products like strong-hold setting sprays to ensure your hairstyle remains intact, whether it is a beach wedding or a long reception evening.
I focus on three key areas:
- Base Prep: I prioritize volume at the crown using root crimping and backcombing before any styling begins. This provides the structural foundation needed for a full day of movement.
- Style Integrity: For updos, I use invisible hairnets and heavy-duty pinning to lock your style in place, especially when incorporating heavy jewellery like Maang Tikkas or Matha Pattis.
- Natural Enhancements: I love working with fresh flowers like gajras and roses, or delicate hair jewellery to add character to your look.
