How I Approach Bridal Hair
I’m based in Mumbai but I end up styling brides all over the place - sometimes even abroad. After doing hair for over 500 brides, I’ve learned a few things: your hairstyle should feel like you, just dialed up a notch. I’m not about dramatic makeovers or hiding your personality. I want you to feel like the best version of yourself.
Styles for Every Wedding Event
Every function calls for a different vibe, so I switch things up:
- For the wedding day, I do the classic bridal bun with gajra (fresh jasmine flowers) or a romantic wedding updo with soft curls and flowers if you want that. Some brides go for open, glamorous waves - totally works if that’s your thing.
- Engagements and cocktails are for trying out modern engagement hairstyles, maybe soft waves or an elegant half-up look with pearls or gold.
- Sangeet nights? Party-ready sangeet hair with bouncy curls that survive all the dancing.
- Mehendi and haldi, I keep it simple and practical - braids, half-up styles, lots of floral bridal hair accessories. Nothing fussy, just pretty and comfortable.

I also style moms, sisters, and bridesmaids, making sure everyone looks good and fits the overall vibe. I use a mix of classic and messy updos, traditional braids, and open styles. Accessories like fresh flowers or hair jewelry are always in my kit.
I travel to your venue, whether it’s in Mumbai or somewhere far - I’ve done my share of destination weddings. Some hair types can be tricky and humidity is a pain, but I’ll work with what you’ve got.
