About this collection
These masks are carved from solid woods like Mango, Acacia, and Teak, making them sturdy and durable additions to your wall. Each piece comes with hooks already attached to the back, so you can easily mount them on your walls without needing extra hardware.
Our collection brings together two distinct traditions of wood art. The Nepalese masks, featuring figures like the fierce Bhairava and the gentle Ganesha, serve as protective folk art. These are traditionally used to guard the entrance of a home, and our woodworkers paint them with natural colors to maintain their authentic look.
We also include wooden bull heads in this collection. These are inspired by the Oachira Cattle Festival in Kerala. They capture the spirit of local festivals and bring that energy into your living room or entrance.
Since these pieces are carved by hand, no two are identical. You get a unique item that carries the marks of the maker. If you want to see them in person before deciding, stop by our Anjanapura space. Our dogs, Scooby and Subbi, will be happy to welcome you.
