Safety is my top priority, especially for facial tattoos. This video shows the removal of a forehead tattoo, with the client wearing protective goggles throughout the procedure.

About Forehead & Bindi Tattoo Removal
When it comes to your face, there are no shortcuts. I use Q-Switched technology specifically for small areas like forehead bindis or finger initials. Before we start any laser application, I ensure your eyes are fully protected with opaque rubber eyewear to block any light scatter. You should expect the area to feel warm, and we follow up with immediate cooling to soothe the skin.
Many people come to me looking to clear a permanent bindi or an old forehead tattoo they have outgrown. This is a delicate process because of the proximity to your eyes and the sensitivity of facial skin. My approach is centered on precision and safety.
The Process
I use a portable Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. Unlike larger systems, this allows me to target micro-areas—typically 1cm to 1 inch—without affecting the surrounding skin. Each session is quick, usually lasting about 10 to 15 minutes.
Expectation Setting
It is rarely a one-time fix. Because of the depth of the ink and the sensitivity of the forehead, most tattoos require 4 to 8 sessions to fade effectively. We assess the ink depth during your first visit so I can give you a realistic timeline.
Safety and Aftercare
My priority is preventing any damage to the surrounding skin or eyes. You will wear opaque rubber eyewear during the entire procedure. After the laser work, you might notice some frosting or surface heat. I immediately apply ice packs or soothing aloe vera to manage this. I will walk you through how to protect the area from the sun and manage scabbing once you leave the studio. If you have questions about whether your specific mark can be removed, just ask.
