About The Masters & The Modern: Our Flagship Exhibitions
In our current South Edition, we go beyond simple displays. We place S.M. Pandit’s rare celestial depictions alongside the bold, experimental abstractions of G.S. Shenoy. This allows you to trace the evolution of South Indian visual language through a single, continuous dialogue.
This exhibition series creates a bridge between different eras of Indian art. In the South Edition, we focus on the unique visual narratives that have emerged from this region. You will encounter the technical precision of artists like S.M. Pandit, who used color symbolism to represent the divine, displayed near the rhythmic, textured works of contemporary artists such as Anand Bekwad.
We manage each piece with specific attention to its history. Whether it is a vintage oleograph or a large-scale oil on canvas, our team handles the provenance and framing. This means you do not just acquire a work of art; you receive a piece with its authentic history attached.
We welcome you to visit our space on Lavelle Road to see these pieces in person. Seeing the scale of a seven-foot painting or the fine line work of an abstract piece changes how you perceive the artist's intent. If you are new to collecting, we are happy to walk you through the differences in medium, such as the archival quality of our prints versus the investment potential of original canvas works.
