Behind the Scenes: My Fashion Shoot Process

It is not just about picking clothes. On a shoot day with brands like Snitch, I spend hours steaming garments, pinning fits to perfection, and guiding models so the final shot tells the right story. When you see a polished campaign, you are looking at the result of a very busy day of problem solving.

While the end result is a sleek campaign, the process is often frantic. My role as a stylist and shoot director starts long before the camera clicks. I build mood boards, source garments, and coordinate with the team to ensure the visual direction aligns with the brand identity.

On the day of the shoot, my attention is split between the big picture and the tiny details. I manage garment prep on site, including steaming and ironing, while actively checking the frame for any awkward fabric bunching or lighting issues. I also work closely with the model to guide their poses, ensuring the clothes look natural and move well on camera. This hands-on approach is how I turn a concept into a visual story for brands in Delhi and Bangalore.
