About The Rich Henna Stain
The deep colour you see in these photos doesn't happen by accident. It comes from using my own 100% organic, homemade henna paste, mixed with high-grade essential oils. But here is the real secret—it is about how you treat the henna after I leave. I always walk my brides through the simple aftercare rituals, like using clove steam or keeping it dry, that make that colour pop and stay dark for days, especially against your wedding chura.
Getting that perfect, maroon stain is what I am obsessed with. Many people think dark colour is just luck, but it is actually chemistry.
Why Natural Henna Matters
I never use chemical-based cones or 'instant' henna that promises a dark colour in an hour. Those often contain harmful chemicals that can cause skin reactions. My paste is made from scratch using pure henna powder and essential oils. It takes a little more time to develop, but the result is a rich, authentic stain that is safe for your skin.
The Aftercare Ritual
Your role in the process is just as important as mine. For the best result:
- Keep it on: Leave the henna on for at least 6 to 8 hours. Don't rush to wash it off.
- Stay away from water: For the first 24 hours after removal, keep your hands away from water as much as possible.
- The Heat Trick: Henna loves heat. If you are getting married in Delhi during the colder months, keep your hands warm after the paste is applied.
When you follow these steps, the colour deepens over the next 48 hours. Looking at those 'chure wale hath' with a deep, dark henna stain is truly where the magic happens, Mashallah.
