We will collaborate on a moodboard before the shoot to decide if we are going for a vintage or modern look. I bring my own textured backdrops and essential props like cutlery and fabrics, but please ensure your key ingredients are ready to go so we can focus on lighting and composition during our 8-hour session.

My approach to food photography is about precision. Whether I am shooting mithai for a festive campaign or sushi for a menu, the goal is the same: making the food look as good as it tastes. I utilize controlled softbox lighting to minimize glare and capture the gloss and moisture that make food look appetizing.

The process is straightforward. We define the aesthetic direction first. Are we looking for something dark and moody or bright and high-key? Once we have the concept, I set up a table-top studio to compose the shot. I focus on macro details, the drizzle of syrup, the placement of herbs, and the contrast of colors. For commercial clients in Mumbai, I offer flexibility, shooting at your location or setting up a session that fits your workflow. You receive 10 to 12 fully retouched hero images, color-graded to match your brand identity, within a 5 to 7 day turnaround.
