It was an honor to create a film celebrating 38 years of marriage. This project was a beautiful reminder that love is a long and wonderful journey. Capturing these moments of reflection and enduring affection is a deeply meaningful part of my work as a storyteller.
About Love for a Lifetime
Shooting long-term couples is completely different from a high-energy wedding. It is quiet, intimate, and requires me to fade into the background. These sessions are not about stiff posing; they are about sitting with you, letting you be yourselves, and waiting for those small, subconscious gestures of comfort and companionship that only emerge after decades of knowing each other.
While much of my work centers on the wedding day, I have always been drawn to what happens next. The 'Love for a Lifetime' series is my way of documenting the quiet, steady rhythm of long-term relationships. Whether it is a golden anniversary, a quiet celebration of thirty years, or simply a moment to pause and reflect on the journey, I approach these sessions with the same fine art philosophy I bring to my wedding films.
Why These Moments Matter
When you have been together for decades, your love is not about grand gestures. It is in the way you share a look across a room, the comfort of sitting in silence together, and the history written into your expressions. My goal is to capture this legacy.
The Process
I do not direct these shoots heavily. Instead, I create space for you to interact as you would on a normal afternoon at home. I use natural light and minimalist framing to keep the focus entirely on the two of you. My setup is unobtrusive, allowing me to document authentic interactions without the distraction of heavy equipment.
Locations and Availability
I am based in Pune and Mumbai but am available to travel for these sessions. Whether we are shooting in the comfort of your home, a favorite local park, or a destination that holds sentimental value, my focus remains on the storytelling. These sessions result in a collection of candid portraits and, if desired, a short, emotive film that preserves these memories for future generations.
