Behind the Scenes: My Creative Face Art Process
Ever wonder what goes into a 3D skull transformation or that perfect Euphoria glam? This is where I spill the tea on my process, show you the raw transformations, and share the art that defines the FaceScam revolution.
People told me face painting would never work in India. I'm so glad I didn't listen! Now I'm bringing a revolution to the makeup industry, one sparkly face at a time.
A spooky and spectacular Halloween transformation. This shows the power of face paint to completely change a person's look.
My "Day of the Dead" Halloween look. This was an incredibly detailed and colourful skull makeup that I created for a client.
Hopping on the tape makeup challenge with this rainbow look. It was so satisfying to peel off the tape and reveal the clean lines.
"Makeup aisa karo ki chaar log bole, ye dono pictures me tu hi hai kya?" This is the kind of transformation I love to create.
A dark and dramatic clown makeup look. I love playing with black and white to create these high-contrast, graphic designs.
A transition reel showing a quick transformation into this intricate tribal-inspired look. It's all about the power of paint.
Fake blood warning! This spooky spider look with rhinestones and blood is perfect for Halloween. It's creepy and glam at the same time.
Another half-skull makeup look, this time with a galaxy-inspired purple and blue colour scheme. I can't get enough of skulls!
It's the Halloween weekend, so here's a spooky pumpkin look! This was so much fun to create, with the stitched mouth and spiderweb details.
About My Creative Process & Studio Looks
People think face painting is just slapping on some colour, but real art takes serious prep. Before any event, I spend hours on hygiene checks and testing textures, especially for my signature skull and neon looks. It is not just about the final snap; it is about using FDA-approved paints that feel weightless on your skin so you look extra for the gram without any irritation.
How I Build the Look
What actually goes into these transformations? It is not just a brush and a prayer. For my signature 'Day of the Dead' skulls or those neon Euphoria eyes you see in my gallery, I work with premium, water-activated, FDA-approved paints that do not crack or smudge.
My process is all about layering. For neon looks, I test the pigment intensity under UV light in my studio before I even pack my kit. When I do custom work for weddings or corporate events, I am thinking about your outfit's colour palette—whether it is the gold in your Sangeet lehenga or the moody aesthetic for a Halloween bash.
Why Process Matters
- Skin Safety: I use brands like Fusion and Tag, which are non-toxic and wash off easily.
- Hygiene First: Every brush, sponge, and water cup gets sanitized before and after every single client.
- Customization: I don't just copy-paste designs. Whether it is a butterfly theme or a graphic tribal motif, I match the colours and style to your vibe.
From the first stroke to the final glitter highlight, my goal is to make sure you feel like the best version of yourself. Have a weird idea? A specific theme? Let's chat and make it happen.
