Every gift box you see here began as a simple sketch on my desk or a memory of a family tradition. We do not just pick items from a catalogue, we spend weeks working with skilled makers, testing textures, and refining the packaging to ensure that when you hold a Faaya box, you feel the weight of the care that went into it.
At our home in the Kala Ghoda district of Mumbai, design happens differently. It starts with a feeling rather than a trend. I look for the warmth in a faded fabric print or the shape of a flower that reminds me of home. When we design, we aim for a space that feels full of life, not cluttered. We call this 'thoughtful maximalism'.
Most people see the finished tray or the final wedding hamper, but the real story is in the process. It is about the two months of planning that go into a custom order, matching the ribbon color to your specific event palette, or deciding whether a satin lining or a velvet finish better protects the contents. I want your unboxing experience to be as special as the moment you decide to gift it.
We collaborate closely with makers across India, merging global design shapes with local techniques. This ensures every piece—from our sculptural vases to our signature rigid gift boxes—is grounded in a narrative.
