Traditional Mandaps and Ceremony Decor
We design traditional mandaps that honor ceremony rituals, featuring sturdy carved pillars, dense marigold canopies, and authentic brass accents.
This outdoor wedding mandap combines sturdy, dark pillars with delicate garlands of yellow flowers. The setup is placed on a raised red platform, creating a defined and sacred space for the wedding ceremony.

I designed this indoor mandap with traditional black pillars and a canopy of yellow marigolds. The backdrop is a green lattice wall, and the floor is covered with a classic patterned carpet, creating a complete traditional look.

About this collection
When planning a traditional mandap, the main challenge is balancing the weight of the floral load with the structural framework. We use a reinforced 4-pillar square frame that stays stable while supporting heavy marigold and tuberose canopy grids. You get a space that looks visually dense and sacred, but is engineered for complete safety during the rituals.
Our approach to traditional mandap decoration is rooted in the specific ritual requirements of the ceremony. We use solid 10ft or 12ft square frameworks, usually finished in gold or wood, to ensure the structure provides a dignified focal point. Whether you are hosting the ceremony in an indoor banquet hall or an outdoor garden, the setup remains the same: a focus on symmetry and sacred elements.
We use dense marigold strings and tuberose tassels to create a full ceiling canopy. This is a deliberate choice; it keeps the focus inward, toward the couple and the priest. We integrate traditional elements like mango leaf torans and fresh banana trees tied to the front pillars to ensure the space feels authentic and grounded in tradition.
Regarding logistics, we account for 3 to 4 hours of setup time. This is critical because balancing the weight of the floral ceiling with the pillars requires precision. We also manage the ritual furniture, including low wooden patlas for the priest and comfortable seating for the couple and parents. Our packages for these setups generally range from ₹1,10,000 to ₹1,50,000. This covers the structure, florals, ritual essentials, and dismantling post-event, so you do not have to worry about the cleanup after the ceremonies conclude. If you have a specific venue in mind, let us know, as we adjust the mandap dimensions to fit the available space.
