This is the first glimpse into the world of En Madtidiya, showcasing the joy, creativity, and hands-on learning that defines my programs. I've selected these visuals to give you a feel for the different ways we connect with nature, from kids' workshops and summer camps to the sustainable art of natural dyeing.
Summer Camps & Outdoor Adventures
My programs are designed to get kids outdoors, exploring and learning directly from nature. From our flagship 5-day "Our Planet" summer camp to nature play sessions in local parks, we focus on hands-on sensory activities like foraging, making Earth Day art, and discovering the science in the world around us.
Block Printing with Natural Inks
In these workshops, children and adults learn the traditional art of block printing using safe, carcinogenic-free inks. Participants create their own designs on items like cotton tote bags and paper, learning about animal species or patterns while making a beautiful, sustainable product to take home.
Flower Pounding & Botanical Prints
This is a wonderfully sensory and stress-relieving activity where we use the natural pigments from flowers and leaves to create beautiful prints. Using a simple hammering technique, participants transfer botanical colors onto greeting cards, postcards, and fabric pouches, creating unique, personal keepsakes.
The Art of Natural Dyeing & Tie-Dye
Discover the magic of creating vibrant colors from natural sources like marigold petals, sappanwood, and indigo. My workshops guide you through various tie-dye and immersion dyeing techniques, allowing you to transform fabric into unique pieces of art, from napkins and tote bags to t-shirts.
From Waste to Wonder: Recycled Papermaking
I teach how to transform old newspapers and shredded documents into beautiful, textured handmade paper. In these sessions, we explore the full cycle of paper recycling, from creating the pulp to pressing and drying the sheets, sometimes even infusing them with natural dyes or flower petals.
Workshops for Schools & Organizations
I design and deliver custom hands-on programs for schools, corporate teams, and community events. These workshops focus on topics like sustainability, textile waste, and eco-entrepreneurship, using creative activities like natural dyeing and problem-solving discussions to engage participants of all ages.

This includes naturally dyed clothing for kids and adults, block-printed t-shirts, unique tie-dyed tote bags, hair accessories, and custom-bound notebooks perfect for gifting or personal use.
My Story & Philosophy
En Madtidiya is more than just a name; it's a question my mother would ask in Kannada: "What are you doing?". It represents the curiosity and creativity at the heart of everything I do. Here, I share my story, my belief in nature as a teacher, and the recognition I've been honored to receive on this journey.
