Our training culture is shaped by national champions and exchange with world-class athletes. See how we bridge the gap between grassroots training and global standards.

We were honored to host World Cup silver medalist Amanpreet Singh. In this video, he shares his impressions of our world-class facility and the high-performance culture we have built.

My journey as a national and international medalist is the bedrock of this academy. This graphic highlights some of my key achievements, which inform the mentorship I provide to every shooter.

I believe in leading from the front. Here I am competing in the 10m Air Pistol event at the Karnataka State Meet, where I won a gold medal.

Apurvi Chandela, a world-class shooter and part of our high-performance training camps, at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence.

It was a pleasure to have cricketing legend Rahul Dravid visit our training grounds. His presence is a great motivation for our young athletes.

A glimpse of our online invitational match with the Olympic Refugee Team, featuring an interaction with Olympic champions Abhinav Bindra and Niccolo Campriani.

This video introduces the Elite Shooting Academy, an initiative I started to promote sport shooting from the grassroots to the elite level for athletes aged nine and above.

About Meet the Mentors & Esteemed Visitors

Mentorship at our academy goes beyond standard coaching drills. When champions like Amanpreet Singh visit, our students do not just watch; they participate in live analysis and discussions about the specific mental triggers required during high-pressure finals. This direct exposure to international-level competition preparation is central to how we bridge the gap between being a serious shooter and a consistent winner.

At Elite Shooting Academy, we understand that technical skill is only one part of the equation. Success on the range is built on mental fortitude and the ability to replicate performance under pressure. By situating our base at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence (CSE) in Bangalore, we ensure our athletes are in an environment that demands excellence every day.

The Value of Direct Mentorship

We do not believe in ivory-tower coaching. We facilitate interactions where you can observe how top-tier athletes prepare their gear, manage their breathing, and handle the silence before a shot. Learning how a World Cup medalist approaches a warm-up or adjusts a sight during a simulator session provides insights that textbooks cannot offer. These visits are not staged; they are functional sessions where knowledge transfer is the priority.

Integrating Global Standards

Our mentors bring methodologies that have been tested at the ISSF World Cup and Olympic levels. Whether you are using the SCATT electronic simulator or preparing for a national qualification match, you are applying the same techniques discussed during our guest interactions. We keep our groups small to ensure that when a mentor is present, every athlete gets the opportunity to ask questions, verify their stance, and understand the nuance of their technique. This environment is built for those who treat shooting as a discipline, not just a hobby.

I am Rakesh Manpat. My journey as a national and international medalist taught me that talent needs a specific environment to flourish. I built this academy to provide the exact coaching, technical insights, and high-level exposure I wished I had when I was starting out.
