Designing My Own Dream Wedding

Planning my wedding taught me that decor is the stage where your story unfolds. Here is a glimpse into the hills, the florals, and the personal touches that turned our celebration into a living memory.

A behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of my dream wedding. This video shows the journey from the hands-on setup to the final, magical look of each event: the Haldi, Sangeet, and Wedding.

The centerpiece of my wedding: a pastel wonderland mandap. I designed it to feel like a living garden, with thousands of flowers creating a soft, romantic, and utterly breathtaking space for our vows.

An aerial view of my wedding ceremony, showing the custom-designed layout. The curved aisle and circular mandap were created to feel organic and integrated with the beautiful landscape of Mussoorie.

For my sangeet, I wanted to create a dramatic and immersive atmosphere. We used a bold red palette, a custom neon sign, and a wall of candles to build an electric energy for a night of celebration.

My Haldi took place in a beautiful glasshouse, which I filled with hanging orchids and beds of yellow and pink flowers. The design was light, joyful, and let the natural beauty of the space shine through.

My Mehendi was an intimate affair at home, filled with tradition and personal touches. I designed a vibrant ceiling of colorful paper flowers and included a memory wall with old family photos.

The details mattered deeply. For the wedding ceremony, I chose these elegant cushions with a delicate bee embroidery, adding a touch of playful sophistication to the pastel-themed seating.

About this collection

When designing my own wedding in Mussoorie, I focused on textures that grounded the grand landscape—like custom-embroidered cushions and delicate glasshouse installations. It wasn't about the scale; it was about ensuring the mandap and sangeet setup felt like an extension of our relationship. If you are planning a destination event, let's discuss how we can weave your personal history into the very fabric of your decor.

Every element of my wedding was built with intention. From the Haldi held in a glasshouse, where we used light and hanging orchids to create an airy, garden-like feeling, to the Sangeet that was anchored in deep, moody reds and candlelight—each space was a direct reflection of our journey.

Designing with Emotion

My philosophy is that decor should not just impress; it should evoke emotion. For the mandap, I chose a pastel palette to create a soft, ethereal vibe that allowed the natural beauty of the hills to shine through. The use of dense, layered florals was not just for aesthetics but to build a sense of romance and intimacy that made the ceremony feel protected and sacred.

The Importance of Details

We often overlook the small elements, but these are what guests remember. By sourcing hand-drawn floral cushions and incorporating a memory wall, we made the space feel lived-in and authentic. For your own wedding, I believe we should apply this same logic. Whether we are styling a massive ballroom or an intimate home mehendi, the goal is to make the environment feel like a mirror of your personality. If you want a wedding that moves beyond standard setups and into something that truly feels like yours, I would love to hear your story.
