Small-Batch Barbering Workshops in Mumbai
Stop guessing your fades and start understanding the craft. My workshops are capped at 5 students, so you get the direct, no-nonsense feedback you need to actually level up.
A quick look into my advanced fade masterclass. You can see the focus on scissor-over-comb technique, precise sectioning, and the final styling. This is the hands-on learning you can expect when you sign up for the next batch.
Sectioning is everything. Here, I'm demonstrating how a diagonal back section helps create a specific shape and flow in the haircut. Understanding the 'why' behind each technique is a core part of my teaching.
A haircut starts with understanding the face structure and head shape. This video shows my own recent cut, focusing on how the fade and curls are shaped to fit. My next barbering batch will focus heavily on this foundation.
About Small-Batch Barbering Workshops
Here is the reality: you can watch endless tutorials online, but until someone stands next to you and corrects your clipper angle or fixes your sectioning, you are just guessing. In these sessions, I do not just demo the cut; I am watching your hands, pointing out where you are losing your tension, and explaining why that specific head shape needs a different guard. It is the kind of immediate, real-world correction you cannot get from a screen.
I started doing these small-batch sessions because I was tired of seeing students pay for big classes where they just sat in the back row watching a projector. That is not how you learn to barber. My approach is simple: we keep the group to a maximum of 5 people. That is it. This ensures I have enough time to actually look at your work, grab your hand, and show you exactly how to execute a clean fade or a sharp beard line.
What we actually cover:
- Head Shape Analysis: Most barbers start cutting without looking at the bone structure. We break down how to read the head first so the cut sits right.
- The Fade Logic: Whether it is a skin fade, taper, or burst, it comes down to clipper guard leverage and speed. We practice the transition until you stop leaving lines.
- Product Knowledge: Sabse badi confusion yehi hoti hai. Wax, clay, or pomade? I show you exactly what to use for different hair types so your final styling is not a mess.
- Tool Maintenance: You are only as good as your gear. We cover zero-gapping, blade care, and how to keep your clippers running smooth.
We split the time between theory and hard practice. You will be working on mannequins to get your muscle memory right, and for the private residency, we move to live models. I teach the 'why' behind every move because when you understand the mechanics, you stop following trends and start creating your own style. If you are ready to stop winging it and start working with precision, let’s get to work.
