Baraat Energy: High-Octane DJ Sets for Wedding Processions
I bring the club vibe to the street. From the groom's entry to the final dance at the gate, I keep the procession moving with pure, high-energy music.
Getting married? Here's your Baraat checklist: a sick car, your best friends, and of course, your boy DJ Sukhbir to bring the noise.
This is not your typical Baraat. We bring the club energy right to the street. The groom wanted a party, and we delivered.
This is my life: music, spreading love, and dancing on legendary tracks with the whole Baraat. Had to run for my life at this wedding, the energy was just that crazy.
What do DJs actually do during a Baraat? We leave the console and join the party. I love getting in the mix with the crowd and dancing along with everyone.
The Sikh Baraat procession is always a vibe. The energy, the dancing on the horse, the pure joy. It's an honor to provide the soundtrack for these moments.
When the groom's sister is the most excited person in the Baraat, you know it's going to be a good one. The whole family was on fire for this procession.
As a DJ, you have to lead the vibe. Here I am on the Baraat truck, getting everyone to follow my lead and dance their hearts out.
Here's an informative video on what a DJ on wheels looks like. This is my mobile setup for a Baraat, fully equipped to bring the beats anywhere.
This is the most demanded song from the groom's friends. When the boys want to roast the groom, I'm always ready to drop the track and get the hype going.
About Baraat Energy
Don't treat your Baraat like background noise. I don't just stand behind a console; I am right there with you on the truck, mixing live and managing the crowd to keep the energy peaking until the final dance. My Baraat sets are built for movement, using high-tempo Punjabi and Dhol fusion tracks that force even the uncles to put their phones away and hit the floor.
When you hire me for your Baraat, the goal is simple: total chaos, in the best way possible. I turn the procession into a moving stage. I am not playing a pre-recorded mix from a laptop. I am up on that DJ truck with my controller, watching the crowd, reading the room, and dropping tracks that match the intensity of the dancing.
Why my approach is different:
- Live Crowd Control: I use the mic to hype up the groom’s squad and keep the procession moving. If we lose steam, I drop a heavy beat switch to bring it right back.
- High-Impact Tracks: We skip the generic, repetitive loops. I bring a heavy dose of Punjabi, Nashik Dhol fusions, and high-energy Bollywood bangers that are actually danceable.
- Hardware Setup: Since I am performing on wheels, I bring my own pro-grade controllers and in-ear monitors. However, for the best output, the client needs to ensure the DJ truck is stable with a reliable generator and a solid sound vendor on board.
Logistics & Setup: If you are planning a Baraat in Delhi or across India, book your sound vendor (truck plus PA system) separately, and I will handle the sonic magic on top. I usually arrive 30 minutes before the assembly to hook up to the generator and check the levels. By the time the baraatis hit the gate, the floor is already warmed up for the Sangeet or Reception. Your wedding day is a marathon, and I make sure we start the race at full throttle.
