Why Add a Live Artist?

• The Energy Factor: A DJ can read the room, but a live musician brings a raw, tactile energy that forces people to look at the stage. It creates a 'concert' atmosphere.

Practical Logistics

Since these are live performances, we have to treat the stage a bit differently than a solo DJ setup.

• Tech Needs: You will need to arrange specific hardware—extra microphone inputs (Shure SM58 or SM57) and monitor wedges so the musician can actually hear themselves over the PA system.
• Coordination: We need a 30-minute window before the set starts to sync up. I typically chat with the musicians beforehand to discuss cues. If you are booking this package, let's make sure the AV vendor knows we have live artists in the mix so the sound balance is tight from the first beat.
