It is this mix of global sounds and local nostalgia that actually controls the room. I do not just show up and press play, as I map out the energy arc of your night long before the first guest walks in.

People often see the DJ at the peak of the night, headphones on, and crowd jumping. But for me, the magic starts way before the first beat drops. Whether I am playing a high-energy club set in Mumbai or a wedding sangeet across India, the preparation remains the same. I spend a significant amount of time understanding the pulse of the room. It is about reading the energy.

My sound is open format, which means I thrive on the unexpected. I love blending the rhythm of Djembe with the heavy bass of commercial club tracks or dropping an old-school Bollywood hit right after a high-tempo Afro-house set. It keeps people guessing and keeps the floor moving.

I have taken my console to places like Thailand, Turkey, and Tanzania, and that global exposure influences how I construct my sets. However, my roots are firmly here. Spinning at Diwali Pahat in Vikhroli or Holi in Dharavi Koliwada brings a different kind of kick because the connection with the local crowd is unmatched. As I always say, Gardi mule naav hot nahi... naavamule gardi hote (A crowd does not make the name, the name makes the crowd).
