About Mic Raja: The Ultimate Hype Man
When you book me, you aren't hiring a DJ who stands behind the console for four hours. I am on the mic from start to finish, reading the crowd, dropping commands, and switching styles based on the floor's energy—whether that's Bollywood, Punjabi hits, or Tech House. If you need someone who keeps the atmosphere at 100% and makes the party feel like a concert, let's talk. If you want a background-only DJ, I'm likely not the right fit.
My approach is built on 18 years of experience. I know that a great party requires more than just good songs; it requires interaction. I bridge the gap between the music and the audience, using the microphone to build anticipation, hype up the drops, and manage the flow of the night.
The Performance
I adapt my set to your needs. For a private wedding or corporate event, I start with an ambient warm-up and progress into high-BPM dance tracks, mixing Indian Hip-Hop and commercial Bollywood with House and Techno. I don't use pre-recorded playlists; every set is mixed live using Rekordbox to match the mood of the room.
The Technicals
I bring my professional gear—including my mic and headphones—to every show. For the full experience, I can bundle in my production team to manage LED visuals, CO2 jets, and Sparkular pyros. If you are planning an event, please note that I require a standard rider (typically 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus and a DJM 900 Nexus mixer) to deliver the sound quality my sets are known for.
