About Behind the Decks: The Artist at Work
When I am behind the decks, I am reading the crowd in real time. I do not follow a rigid pre-set list because the vibe changes every ten minutes, whether it is a club night or a private party. You will catch me switching from high-energy Bollywood commercial beats to hard-hitting Indian Hip-Hop, all while working the mic to keep the energy levels peaking.
I have spent 18 years mastering the art of the dance floor. My process is simple. I arrive, I plug in, and I start reading the room. My performance is built around a professional setup, using Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus units, which allow me to transition smoothly between tracks. Whether the crowd needs a steady warm-up or a high-BPM explosion, I adjust the flow of the set to match the energy in the room.
If you are booking me, keep in mind that I am a performer first, not just a DJ. I use the microphone to guide the crowd, create hype, and make sure everyone is part of the moment.
