When you are playing for a festival crowd of 2,000+ people, standard club mixing does not cut it. I use what I call 'Concert Mode'—fast, sharp transitions that keep the energy spiked for a large-scale audience. We also spend the hour before the show tuning your Line Arrays, because if the bass doesn't hit the back of the venue with the same intensity as the front, the whole vibe loses its punch.
Festivals and large-scale concerts are entirely different animals compared to club nights. While a lounge set is about building a mood over four hours, a mainstage festival set is about immediate, high-impact engagement. My festival packages are designed for crowds of 2,000+ pax and focus on the technical requirements of outdoor environments, such as handling hazardous conditions like Holi colors, heat, and dust without compromising my equipment.
