About Hip Hop & R&B Revolution
When I run an R&B Revolution night, it is not just about playing the hits. I focus on creating a narrative flow, blending classic 2Pac and Biggie tracks with deep cuts that keep the nostalgia levels high and the dance floor packed. I usually host these sessions on Thursday nights at 1522 The Pub in Kamanahalli, and I always make sure the sound setup is pristine so the bass hits exactly how it should.
The R&B Revolution is my special project, a direct response to the love for the golden age of music. It is a space where I strip away the commercial noise and return to the roots: the lyrics, the stories, and the undeniable groove of the late 90s and early 2000s.
What to Expect
- Pure Nostalgia: I dig deep into my record crates to pull out everything from classic hip hop anthems to soulful R&B joints. You will hear tracks from legends like Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and The Notorious B.I.G.
