When I curate a VIBE CHECK night, I am doing more than pressing play on a top 40 list. I am reading the room. My process involves a pre-event deep dive into your crowd’s timeline. We figure out which era defined your group's best nights, and I build the set around those specific years.
Why the Old School Approach Works
Most events suffer from 'playlist fatigue' where the music feels generic. I bring the 'Genre B(L)ender' approach to these sessions. I mix in Afro House and Latin House grooves between the classic Hip Hop and R&B anthems to keep the energy moving. It is about creating a flow that feels like a mixtape brought to life.
