About Mainstage Madness
I do not believe in short, copy-paste DJ sets. When you book me for a mainstage event, you are getting a continuous 5-hour journey that I build in real-time. I feed off the crowd's energy, using three-deck mixing and creative effects to keep the room moving, rather than just hitting play on a pre-recorded mix.
My mainstage approach is rooted in the philosophy of the marathon set. Whether you are hosting a club launch or a festival, the goal is to keep the energy peaking for hours. This isn't just about playing tracks; it is about reading the room and transitioning through commercial house, EDM classics, and old school hip-hop to keep the dance floor packed.
Technically, I am a firm believer in industry-standard quality. For these setups, I work with Pioneer CDJ-3000 multi-players and the DJM-A9 mixer. If you are providing the gear, I require Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 or higher to ensure the sound quality is crisp. I arrive 60 minutes before my set for a full soundcheck and calibration because, in a venue like Sunburn Union, the audio needs to hit perfectly the moment the beat drops.
I also bring a full visual team to these events. One dedicated VJ manages the live visuals, syncing them to the music to create that intense, stadium-level sensory experience. It is not just about what you hear; it is about the smoke, the lights, and the visuals working together to define the night.
