The DJ console is my office and my happy place. I exclusively use industry-standard Pioneer NXS2 or 3000 setups because they allow me to seamlessly mix audio with original video tracks, ensuring your guests see the classic movie moments they are dancing to.
Being a 'Video DJ' isn't just about playing tracks. It is about creating a full audio-visual experience. When I’m at the console, I’m not just mixing sound. I am syncing original music videos and movie clips to the beat, which is why my Chitrahaar nights feel so nostalgic and high-energy.
My preparation starts long before I reach the venue. Whether I am curating a set for a private sangeet or a high-octane club night, I spend hours at home on my laptop, building the playlist and checking the video queues. I treat my brand, Bobby K Worldwide, with the same care. My gear is maintained at a professional level, and I travel with the necessary equipment to ensure the sound quality is consistent regardless of the venue size.
I am not just there to press play. I am there to read the room. If the crowd wants more 90s Bollywood or classic English retro, I pivot instantly. My goal is to make sure that whether it is a small farmhouse gathering or a massive festival, the dance floor stays packed until the very last song.
