People usually see the final show, but my process is all about the hours spent digging through archives. Whether I am prepping a visual set at home or testing transitions, my laptop is always open. It is not just about hitting play; it is about making sure that the transition from a 70s groove to a 90s beat feels seamless for you on the dance floor.
My Office Is The Stage
When I am at the console, that is where I am most alive. People often ask me how I maintain that high energy for a full four-hour set, and the truth is, it starts long before I arrive at the venue. Whether I am playing at Radio Bar in Khar or 145 Andheri, my preparation is intense. I treat every track like a piece of history because, for me, R.D. Burman is a deity. My library is curated with care, focusing on original sounds that bring the golden era to life.
The Visual VJ Edge
I was one of the first in Mumbai to bring visual VJ sets to the Bollywood retro scene. This isn't just about audio; it is about synchronizing the original music videos with the club beats you are dancing to. When you look at the screen and see the classic stars on the dance floor with you, that is the magic I work to create. It turns a standard night into a time-travel experience.
Beyond The Console
