My sets for daytime events like Haldi or pool parties aren't just about playing tracks. I focus on keeping the energy consistent while actively using the mic to direct group dances and announce entries. I arrive two hours early for a full sound check with your venue team so we don't waste time troubleshooting when your guests are ready to jump in.
When you book me for a Haldi, Dandiya night, or a sundowner pool party, you aren't just hiring a playlist. You are hiring an entertainer.
The Setup & Sound
For outdoor daytime events, I know exactly what works—tracks that get the crowd moving without needing the heavy sub-bass required for a club. I use a professional Pioneer setup to ensure the sound quality is crisp even in open spaces. Please note that while I bring my own console and wireless mic, you will need to arrange for the PA (sound) system and speakers at the venue. I am happy to coordinate with your sound rental team during my pre-event sound check.

- Haldi & Mehendi: I keep the mood light but energetic. I blend Punjabi hits with commercial pop and keep the microphone work focused on helping the family organize their dance entries.
- Dandiya Nights: This is all about rhythm. I mix traditional beats with modern percussion to keep the dancers on their toes for hours. If you want a VDJ setup for the evening, I can sync music videos and live graphics to my tracks to make the night truly immersive.
- Pool Parties: I curate the tracklist to be summery and upbeat. I read the vibe as the sun goes down and transition smoothly into higher-tempo beats as the party shifts into the evening.
