About Weddings & Private Gigs
For weddings and private gigs, I do not just show up with a playlist. I coordinate with your planners and dhol players to make sure my sound design—the Bollywood transitions, the Punjabi drops, and the late-night trance segments—flows perfectly with your event run-of-show. If you need me to MC, handle entry announcements, or sync visuals for a specific couple's entrance, let me know, and we will map it out before the event starts.
My sets for private events are not static. We usually start with lounge or deep house to set the mood while your guests arrive, then ramp up into the high-energy Bollywood, Punjabi, and commercial hits that get the crowd moving. If the energy is right, I am happy to shift into late-night tech or psy-trance segments to keep the after-party going until the last person leaves.
I am an open-format DJ, meaning I read the room. Whether it is a sangeet where I need to support live dance performances or a corporate gala that needs a polished, upbeat atmosphere, I am comfortable behind the console interacting with the crowd and taking requests.
My performance fee covers my set. Since private venues vary, please ensure the client-side requirements are met: a professional Pioneer Nexus Console setup (2x CDJ 2000 NXS2 or 3000 + 1x DJM 900 NXS2) and a PA sound system that can handle the low-end. For wedding events in Mumbai, local travel is included. For outstation gigs, I require return airfare and accommodation arranged.
