Behind the Scenes of My Art Process
See how I turn a blank screen or canvas into a finished piece. From digital timelapses to traditional painting, this is my creative world.
Watch how I build up my illustrations from simple shapes to a finished character. This short timelapse shows the process of creating my little chick illustration, layer by layer.
A little video about my journey as an artist. It shows a mix of my work, from oil paintings to pencil drawings and the wallet cards that I love making. It's all about being free to create.
My art is full of colour! 🎨 This reel shows the different palettes I work with, from bold reds and blues to classic black and white. Every piece has its own mood and feeling.
A quick "artist vs. art" video showing me and some of the pieces I'm most proud of. I work with many different mediums, both physical and digital, to bring my ideas to life.
About Behind the Scenes: My Process
Every digital piece starts as a simple sketch on my tablet. I record these timelapses because I want you to see that art is not just about the final image, but the messy, learning process that gets us there. It takes me about 4 to 7 days to get a custom piece just right, and I love sharing these bits of the journey with you before you commit.
I call myself an imperfect artist because my journey has been all about learning on the go. I did not go to a formal art school, but I spent hours glued to tutorials and practice reels to figure out my own style. Whether I am working with graphite, pastels, or my digital stylus, my goal is always the same: capturing a feeling.
In my digital art, like the custom wallet cards I make, I focus on merging references into one cohesive frame. I love taking a client's favourite photo and transforming it into something they can hold, like a piece of art that fits in a wallet. It is about preserving a memory, not just drawing a face.
When you commission me, I send you a digital proof first. I want you to be part of the process, just like I show you here in these clips. It is not a factory line. It is raw, it is personal, and it is built around your specific story. If you are looking for art that feels human and honest, you are in the right place.
