About Artisan Masterpieces
Many of these pieces, especially my Pen Kalamkari and Lambani sarees, are single editions. Because they rely on slow, manual processes like natural dyeing or hand-tying, the design you see in the video is usually the only one available. If you spot a pattern you love, do not wait for a restock, as these pieces cannot be recreated exactly the same way.
When I select sarees for this collection, I look for the soul in the craft. Pen Kalamkari is not a print, it is a story drawn by hand with bamboo pens and organic dyes. Lambani embroidery requires days of patient, detailed needlework from the community to get those vibrant, intricate patterns right. You will find Bandhej here, but the kind that requires careful roll pressing to sit perfectly on your pleats.
These are not factory-made items. If you choose a Shibori or Ajrakh block print, notice the slight variations in the dye. That is the proof of the artisan's hand. Because I work with unique pieces, most of the sarees in this section are one-of-a-kind. If you see a piece that calls to you, send me a message immediately. You are welcome to visit my studio in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru, to feel the fabric and the weight of these pieces before you pick one.
