A full carton of our beautiful, multi-colored farm fresh eggs. We offer delivery in Delhi, making it easy to get local eggs straight from the farm.
About Farm Fresh Eggs
These aren't your supermarket pale-yolk eggs. Because my hens spend their days roaming on grass and hunting for bugs, the yolks come out a deep, vibrant orange that holds its shape. I hand-collect every carton daily, so whether you are picking up at the farm or having me drop them off in Delhi, you are getting them as fresh as it gets.
Why the yolks are different
If you have never cracked an egg from a truly pasture-raised bird, the color might surprise you. My girls are not stuck in a shed. They spend their days on open grass, eating exactly what chickens were meant to eat: bugs, worms, and fresh forage. That diet is the secret behind those deep, rich orange yolks and the extra flavor. You will find a mix of colors in every carton: dark chocolate brown from the Marans, olive green, terracotta, and soft blues. It is a rainbow, and they look as good as they taste.
Getting your eggs
I know life gets busy, which is why I try to make this as convenient as possible for folks in the area. You can swing by the end of my driveway on Peakes Brook Road to grab a carton, or if you are in Delhi, I can bring them to you. My deliveries cover most of the local area, including parts of Delaware and Otsego County.
A note on the flash sales
Sometimes the hens decide to go into overdrive, and suddenly I have way more eggs than I can handle. When that happens, I run a flash sale. Occasionally I will have extra unwashed eggs available at a discount. They are perfectly clean and safe, just skipping the wash step because, well, farm life keeps me busy and I would rather pass the savings on to you than spend all night at the sink. Keep checking back if you are looking to stock up.
