About this collection
We prioritize your baby's comfort during every 3-hour session. We use non-flash continuous lighting and soft, cozy props like crochet outfits and wicker baskets to keep your little one calm and safe while we capture their first expressions.
Our Approach to Newborn Photography
We know that the first few weeks are a whirlwind, and your baby's comfort is our top priority. Our sessions are specifically designed for babies up to 45 days old. We recommend the 5 to 15-day window if you are looking for those classic, sleepy, flexible poses.
What to Expect During Your Session
- Duration: We allocate 3 hours for every shoot. This allows ample time for feeding, soothing, and nap breaks. We never rush the process.
- Setting: Whether we shoot at your home or in a studio, we require a 10x10 ft cleared space. We bring everything needed, including wicker baskets, buckets, soft woolen wraps, headbands, and crochet outfits.
- Lighting: We use non-flash, continuous soft-box lighting. This is safer for newborn eyes compared to traditional camera flashes and creates a warm, gentle aesthetic.
- Looks: You get 2 distinct looks per session. This might include one basket pose and one cozy fur rug setup.
Deliverables
After the shoot, we provide 20 artistically retouched images. We focus on natural editing, such as gentle skin smoothening and redness removal, to keep your baby looking like themselves. If you have family members who want to be involved, we also include 3 to 4 standard portrait shots with parents.
