About Sustainable Home Gardening
Gardening as Meditation
I’m Deepanshi, and honestly, gardening is my kind of meditation. I use it to switch off from chaos and find a sense of peace. My balcony in Bangalore is proof that even tiny spaces can go full-on green, and I’d love to help you build your own spot.
Simple, Sustainable, Homemade
I keep things fuss-free. My style is all about DIY balcony garden ideas, using what’s at hand and sticking to sustainable, eco-friendly ways. We’ll skip the fancy stuff and work with old-school jugaad (clever fixes), focusing on reuse, reduce, recycle.
What We’ll Do
- Pick the right plants for your light and space.
- Set up your pots, soil, and layout so it actually looks good.
- Learn the magic of homemade bio-enzyme fertilizer. We’ll use kitchen scraps - like nimbu ke chilke (lemon peels), pyaaz ke chilke (onion peels), and jaggery - to make a zero waste plant care tonic. No chemicals, no fuss.
- Try out upcycled planters using cans and bottles. Why buy when you can make?
- Work with indoor or low-light spots, so even your window ledge can go green.
Real Talk: Bloopers Happen
Plants die. Projects flop. Happens to me, happens to everyone. I’m here to help you stick with it and build your confidence. With a bit of practice, your green corner is totally doable.

My Story
Hey, I’m Deepanshi. I teach yoga, but that’s just one slice of my life. You’ll usually spot me in my balcony garden, covered in soil, or lost in some DIY craft that takes forever but makes me weirdly happy. I love traveling – Udaipur’s lakes, Aussie kangaroos, koalas snoozing – all that magic sticks with me. I’m big on living green, making my own bio-enzymes, and connecting everything: yoga, creativity, travel, and the planet. Sab kuch ek saath hai (everything’s together).
My Work
Yoga classes for every mood - I offer online Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa, plus Surya Namaskar guidance and even aerial silks practice.
Real, honest teaching style - I’m all about showing up, not chasing perfection. I share my fails too; growth is messy, and that’s okay.
Safe space for everyone - Feeling overwhelmed? My classes help you turn inward, breathe, and find calm. Newbies or pros, all are welcome.
Beyond flexibility - You’ll learn mindful breathwork, presence, and how to be a warrior, not a worrier. It’s your peaceful hour.
