About From The Lab: Studio Sessions
When you commission a custom remix or an original beat, I don't just layer tracks. I start by digging for samples that match your energy, then I chop, flip, and re-arrange them to create something unique. We focus on getting the drums right—whether it is for a dance battle set, a choreography cut, or an original hip-hop track—ensuring every transition hits hard.
My studio isn't about sterile, overproduced sounds. It is the birthplace of the Drift Tape series—a raw, unfiltered look at my process.
The Process I take your vision—be it a Bollywood-Afrobeats blend or a dusty boom-bap beat—and treat it like a sculpture.
- Digging: I spend hours finding samples that 'hit different.'
- Choping & Flipping: Nothing is standard. I manipulate the sound until it feels like a journey, not a playlist.
- Technical Precision: While the vibe is raw, the technical side is professional. I provide high-quality WAV and 320kbps MP3 exports, mastering for loudness on both club systems and mobile devices.
How We Collaborate Whether you are an artist needing original beats with space for your vocals or a DJ looking for that exclusive edit to make your set pop, I work directly with you. I provide stems (Kick, Snare, Bass, Melody) if you need to mix it yourself, and I always ensure there is enough headroom (-6dB) for your vocal recording. If you want music that keeps the gully culture alive, let’s get to work.
