Hand-Painted Buddha Murals for Yoga Studios & Homes
Transforming plain walls into spaces of peace. This Buddha mural was a special journey of bringing meditative energy to a yoga studio, right here in Bangalore.
The first step is always bringing the vision to life directly on the wall. Here you can see the detailed pencil sketch of the Buddha and lotuses, establishing the foundation for the entire mural.
This photo captures the painting process, where I apply the initial layers of color. You can see the bright orange of the robe and the cool blue of the Buddha's form starting to emerge from the sketch.
The finished mural, with me for scale. This hand-painted artwork, full of rich color and detail, now serves as a focal point for meditation and peace within the studio.
About A Meditative Space: The Buddha Mural Project
When I start a mural, I don't just jump into painting. I sketch the design directly on your wall first, so you can see exactly how the composition works in your space before I even pick up a brush. For this Buddha piece, getting the proportions right while keeping the flow of the lotuses was key to maintaining that meditative energy.
Why a Hand-Painted Mural?
There is a huge difference between a sticker decal and a hand-painted mural. When I paint on your wall, I am using professional-grade acrylic emulsions that are meant to last. I also seal everything with a durable varnish, which keeps the colors vibrant and makes the wall easy to wipe down.
The Process: From Sketch to Space
Every project starts with a conversation about the vibe you want.
- The Consultation: We chat about your theme, colors, and the mood of the room. Whether you want something spiritual like this Buddha piece or traditional Pichwai art, we start there.
- The Sketch: I draw the layout on your wall to ensure it fits the scale of the room. You get to approve this before I open any paint tubes.
- The Painting: I build the artwork in layers, focusing on shading and details like eyes or lotus petals to give it depth.
Where I Paint
I work across Bengaluru, from yoga studios looking for that extra bit of zen to cozy home corners that need a splash of personality. If you have a blank wall, I have a brush ready. My murals usually take anywhere from 3 to 8 days, depending on the complexity of the design and the size of the wall.
