Sketches and Ideas for Custom Digital Illustrations
This is my digital sketchbook where ideas breathe before they become stories. Here you will find the initial sparks of character loops, emotional sketches, and the raw creative moments that often grow into fully realized animations.
A playful character animation showing my process from a simple line drawing to a colored loop. This is an example of a fun, quick animation I can create for social media or personal greetings.
About Sketches & Ideas
Every loop you see here starts as a rough pencil sketch in Procreate, utilizing the boiling line effect to keep the movement feeling organic. When you commission a piece, I apply this same hand-drawn philosophy to ensure your final animation retains that warm, sketchbook soul rather than looking like a rigid, automated graphic.
Ideas often begin as a quiet thought or a fleeting emotion. Whether it is a portrait of a loved one or a specific Sikh-inspired motif, these sketches represent the essential first step in my creative process. My approach prioritizes raw texture and feeling over polished perfection. I use Procreate to capture the initial composition, focusing on the story rather than just technical precision.
If you are looking for a unique gift or a personal memento, we can start with one of these rough ideas and develop it into a 15-second loop or a fully colored piece. This collaborative starting point allows you to see the direction before I commit to the detailed frame-by-frame animation work. Because my style is rooted in gratitude and 'Shukar', I focus on capturing the small gestures—a hand resting on a shoulder, a shared glance, or the way fabric moves in the wind. These sketches are the blueprints for turning your memories into shareable, heartfelt art.
