Wedding Dance Choreography: From Rehearsal to Reality
Think you have two left feet? That is exactly who I work with best. Watch how we turn 'kuch nahi aata' into a performance you will actually love doing.
This is a compilation of various rehearsal clips from recent weddings. It's meant to inspire you and show the variety of performances we work on, from bride tribe acts to fun couple dances and family finales.
A quick look at a rehearsal for a fun, upbeat sibling performance. Even in a casual home setting, you can see the energy and coordination coming together as they practice the steps.
About From Rehearsal to Reality
When I send over your routine, it is not just a video. You get a mirror-view breakdown that lets you learn at your own pace, even if we are in different time zones. I record the steps exactly as you will perform them, so you do not have to do the mental math of flipping left and right while trying to keep up with the music.
Most people who reach out to me start by saying 'kuch nahi aata hai' (I don't know anything). My entire process is built to prove that you do not need to be a professional dancer to have a great time on stage. Whether we are working on a Sangeet dance or a surprise couple performance, my goal is to strip away the pressure.
How We Make It Happen
- The DIY Package: I send you high-definition video tutorials with slow-motion breakdowns and a mirror-view. This is perfect if your squad is scattered across different cities or countries and you need to practice on your own schedule.
- Live Virtual Sessions: If you prefer real-time correction, we hop on Zoom or WhatsApp video. We fix your posture, rhythm, and stage presence in real-time. It feels like a private dance studio session, just from the comfort of your living room.
- The Hybrid Approach: For large family groups, I often combine pre-recorded tutorials for individual practice with a few live 'cleaning sessions'. This ensures the formations are tight and the energy is synchronized without needing everyone in the same room for weeks.
A Little About My Process
I treat choreography as a form of storytelling. We will pick songs that mean something to you—whether it is an emotional ballad for a father-daughter dance or a high-energy Punjabi track for the groom's squad. My job is to blend your comfort level with the vibe of the event. We will mix, match, and edit the music so the flow feels natural. You focus on the smiles and the hugs, and I will handle the counts and the cues.
