Dandiya & Garba Nights: High-Energy Dance Events
Whether it is a massive city-wide festival or a local school function, I bring the rhythm and energy that gets everyone on the dance floor.

About Dandiya & Garba Nights
You might think Dandiya is just about hitting sticks together, but it is actually about catching the rhythm as a group. When I run these workshops, I focus on simple, repeating patterns that even a first-timer can pick up in ten minutes. My job isn't to show off my moves, it is to make sure your entire crowd is moving in sync, from the kids to the grandparents.
I have been doing this for over 26 years, and the magic of a live Dandiya or Garba event in Punjab is unmatched. Whether it is a massive stage show like the ones we did with Radio City in Jalandhar and Karnal, or a cozy evening at La Blossoms School, the goal is always the same: to get people off their chairs and into the circle.
My Approach to Dandiya Workshops
- For Beginners: Don't worry if you have two left feet. I break down the footwork into basic, manageable steps. If you can walk to the beat, you can do Dandiya.
- For Large Crowds: When managing a group of 300+, you need structure. I use high-energy, infectious music and clear signals to keep the momentum going so the energy doesn't drop.
- Traditional & Modern: My partner Urvashi and I mix traditional Garba steps with modern choreography to keep the crowd engaged for hours. We focus on the 'flow' rather than complex, rigid routines.
I have seen too many events where the music plays but nobody knows how to join in. That is where I come in. I don't just stand on stage; I come down to the floor, teach the moves, and lead the charge. If you are planning an event for Navratri, Diwali, or any community celebration, I can help you turn it into a high-energy dance experience that your guests will talk about for weeks.
