We prioritize proper site grading and drainage before laying a single stone or planting a shrub, ensuring your lawn stays green and water-free even during heavy monsoon spells. Without this structural integrity, you risk drainage issues that can compromise your villa's foundation and your peace of mind.
Designing a landscape for a large villa or farmhouse is about creating distinct zones. You need a space for morning coffee, a pathway that leads somewhere purposeful, and lighting that makes the area inviting after sunset. We start by assessing the existing soil and terrain to create a layout that flows naturally with your home's architecture.
In Bengaluru, where heavy rains are common, leveling and drainage are the most critical steps in our process. We use high-quality red soil for planting zones and implement anti-weed matting beneath natural Mexican carpet grass to keep your lawn looking manicured, not wild.
For hardscaping, we lean towards natural stone pavers and stepping stones set against river pebbles. This keeps pathways clean and usable regardless of the weather. If you want a Zen corner, we incorporate stone lanterns and Buddha statues as focal points. For those who want the lush look without the weekly maintenance, we offer hybrid solutions. This involves a mix of natural shrubs for texture and carefully placed artificial turf where foot traffic is high or shade is too dense for real grass.
