Women’s Outdoor Climbing and Bouldering Trips in India
From the granite boulders of Hampi to the mountain air of Sethan, we host women-only outdoor climbing festivals that are all about pushing limits, learning to trust your feet, and finding your crew. No experience? No problem. We handle the gear, the safety, and the logistics—you just bring the stoke.
A climber takes on a massive boulder during our Sethan retreat. The scale of the landscape is matched only by the determination of our community, with everyone spotting and supporting from below.
Teamwork makes the dream work. Here, our crew provides spotting and encouragement for a climber working through a tricky sequence. This is what our supportive, female-led bouldering workshops are all about.
A climber in our Sethan valley workshop focuses on her footwork and handholds, with spotters ready below. We teach the fundamentals of outdoor bouldering in a safe and encouraging environment.

A climber studies the rock face in Hampi, planning her next move. Bouldering is as much a mental puzzle as it is a physical challenge, and we love solving these problems together.
The sheer scale of the boulders in Hampi is breathtaking. Here, a climber is dwarfed by the massive granite rock, showcasing the incredible natural playground we get to explore.
About this collection
The most critical skill you will learn in our outdoor sessions isn't just how hard you can pull, but how you support the climber on the wall. Spotting is an art form, not just a safety precaution. We teach you to read the terrain, position crash pads to prevent injury, and communicate effectively with your climbing partner. When you trust the person standing behind you with a crash pad, you’ll find the confidence to commit to those high-foot moves you were previously too scared to try.
Whether you are a complete beginner looking to touch rock for the first time or an experienced climber aiming to refine your technique, our outdoor festivals are designed to get you on the wall with confidence.
The Terrain We Explore
We host our climbing retreats in India's most iconic landscapes.
- Hampi: Known for its otherworldly granite boulders. We focus on bouldering here, learning the subtle art of body tension and route reading on these prehistoric rock formations.
- Sethan: A lush valley perfect for granite bouldering. This is where we combine movement technique with breathtaking views and deep forest relaxation.
- Badami: The spot for those looking to get into rope climbing. The steep sandstone here offers challenging, technical climbs that push your physical and mental limits.
Why Climb With Us?
Climbing outdoors is different from the gym. You have to account for changing weather, rock texture, and real-world safety. We provide full gear rentals—including crash pads, climbing shoes, and helmets—so you do not need to own a thing. Our 1:5 instructor ratio ensures you get one-on-one attention, whether you are working on your first boulder problem or trying to crack a grade you have been stuck on for months.
Beyond the climbing, these trips are about the 'off-rock' experience. We integrate yoga to help with mobility, slacklining to improve your balance, and evenings by the campfire. We are a community of women who cheer just as loud for your fall as we do for your success. Come, fall, laugh, and get strong.
Climb Like a Woman
We started CLAW because we wanted a space where women could be strong, get scared, and be rowdy without anyone telling them to be a lady. We’re not just instructors; we’re a tribe that celebrates every move you make. Come climb with us—it’s going to be sweaty, it’s going to be hard, and you’re going to love it.
