I believe hands-on crafting is so important, and so did this group of Montessori teachers. We held a workshop where they learned to make plant hangers, necklaces, and leaves, discovering new projects to share with their students.
Seeing the spark of creativity and even entrepreneurship in children is the best feeling. These students not only learned to make plant hangers but started planning how they could make and sell their own creations.

What You Can Create
We can keep it simple with beginner keychains and bag charms, or dive into more structured projects like plant hangers and bohemian-style jewelry. If you are booking a workshop for a group, we can discuss the best project for your attendees, whether they are kids or adults.
A Creative Experience for Everyone
- Beginners: If you have never held a macrame cord before, you are in the right place. We start with basic knots like the square knot and spiral knot.
- Kids & Schools: I love working with younger crowds, and I have had great experiences with Montessori teachers and students. Macrame is fantastic for building motor skills and confidence.
- Groups & Teams: It is a lovely way for friends or colleagues to chill out and actually make something they can keep.
I provide all the equipment, including cotton cords, beads, and professional tools like fabric scissors and cutting mats. You just need to bring your curiosity and a willingness to try. Sometimes things get a little tangled, but that is part of the fun, and I will be right there to help you out.
