About Unique Miniature Objects
Every miniature I make starts with your reference photos, whether it's a specific hobby object or a sentimental memento. I work with high-grade polymer clay to capture fine details, like the texture of a sewing machine or the markings on a toy, and then bake them for long-lasting durability.
When I take on a miniature object project, my process is all about capturing the essence of the real thing. I do not use molds, which means every piece—be it a tiny camera, a musical instrument, or a vintage scooter—is sculpted entirely by hand.
For complex requests, like the 5cm Hawk aircraft I created, I break down the object into basic structures first, then layer on the fine details. I use wire reinforcement for delicate parts like handlebars or tripod legs to ensure they do not break. Once the structure is right, I focus on the finish; I use metallic paints for machinery parts and matte textures for fabric or wood elements to keep the final piece looking realistic yet distinctly handmade.
Whether you need a cake topper that reflects your partner's passion or a desk ornament that reminds you of a special memory, these pieces are designed to last. They are cured to be water-resistant and hard-wearing. If you have a specific object in mind, send me a clear, well-lit photo from a few angles. The better the reference, the more soul I can pour into the miniature.
