About Maternity & Couple Portraits
I focus on golden hour light for a natural glow, so I schedule sessions early morning or late afternoon at parks or heritage landmarks like the Gateway of India. I provide access to my client closet with flowing maternity gowns, but I always encourage you to bring personal props like sonogram photos or tiny shoes to make the session feel uniquely yours.
My Approach to Maternity
I believe maternity photography should feel like a moment of peace. My style is less about stiff, uncomfortable posing and more about capturing how you interact naturally. Whether we are shooting at a quiet park or a classic Mumbai location, the goal is to document this chapter in your life with a clean, cinematic look.
What a Typical Session Looks Like
- Timing is everything: We plan our shoot around the golden hour to ensure that warm, soft lighting that makes pregnancy portraits look timeless.
- Wardrobe & Props: You get access to my client closet, which includes long-tail maternity gowns in red, pink, and emerald green. If you have sentimental items like baby shoes, sonogram photos, or placards, please bring them along. These details tell your specific story.
- Deliverables: Each outdoor session covers 3 costume changes and includes both couple shots and solo portraits of the mother. You will receive 25 to 30 artistically retouched images, all your good raw JPEG files, and a 30 to 60-second cinematic Instagram reel set to music.
Practical Details
- Locations: I shoot across Mumbai, from beaches to heritage precincts. Please note that any entry fees for specific locations are borne by the client.
- Comfort: My aim is to make the process easy. I offer posing guidance throughout the 3-hour session, so you do not need to worry about being camera-shy. We focus on comfort and connection, whether it is a quiet embrace or a playful moment together.
