About Mehendi Stories
During a mehendi session, the light changes fast. I switch between using dramatic spotlights to highlight your henna designs and natural candid shots to catch you laughing with family. You get a mix of artistic portraits and real, unscripted moments without me asking you to pose stiffly for hours.
My approach to mehendi photography is simple. I want the photos to show the story of the day, not just a staged event. I look for the small things, like the focus in your eyes while the artist works or the quiet moment you share with your mother. When we shoot, I keep things loose and chill. We can do formal portraits with dramatic lighting to make your mehendi stand out, or keep it light and breezy in a garden or orchard. I also make sure to get those group shots that actually look natural, not like a lineup.
Since I often shoot in Himachal, I love bringing in the mountain light or local greenery if you choose an outdoor venue. My goal is to capture the excitement before the big wedding day. You get 100 to 150 edited images from the session, so you have plenty to look back on.
