Eclectic Design Moments and Media Features
A collection of diverse spaces and creative highlights that define our approach to building meaningful, grounded homes.
This media room was designed as a cozy, moody retreat. We painted the walls a deep green and installed matching double doors to create an immersive atmosphere. The pop of the yellow sofa and the striped rug add a playful touch to this versatile space, which also serves as a home gym and office.
Even a small nook can become a highly functional and beautiful space. We carved out this study area within the living room, using a custom-built L-shaped desk and shelving system. It’s a perfect example of how to maximize space without sacrificing style, creating a dedicated workspace that feels integrated and intentional.
Bathrooms are a great place to play with pattern and color. In this powder room, we used vibrant green and grey geometric tiles to create a feature wall. The pop of the red faucet adds a surprising and playful contrast, turning a small, functional space into a design moment.
We transformed this terrace into a peaceful zen garden, a perfect spot for quiet contemplation. A simple wooden deck elevates a Buddha sculpture, flanked by large teal urns that add a splash of color against the concrete finish. It’s an open-to-sky lounge that brings a sense of calm to an urban home.
I was honored to have my 'Far From the Stone Street' project featured by Buildofy. In this promo, you can hear me talk about the rustic, medieval-inspired vision for the home and how we used color, texture, and natural stone to bring it to life. It’s a wonderful summary of a project that was all about joining the dots between a client's dream and our design.
Continuous learning is a core part of my journey. I was thrilled to participate in an entrepreneurial program at the prestigious IIM Bangalore. This experience has helped me integrate new project management tools and techniques to better serve my clients and manage my growing team.
A portrait from a feature in The Architect's Diary for the 'Colors of Goa' project. It’s always a pleasure to share the stories behind my work and my philosophy of creating eclectic homes that fuse different design theories to reflect the owner's personality.
The entrance to a home sets the tone for everything inside. For this foyer, we created a feature wall with a hand-drawn Kolam on a terracotta-textured surface. This traditional South Indian welcome is a daily ritual reimagined as a permanent blessing, hinting at the blend of heritage and boldness within.
We designed this living space around the family's treasured antique furniture. A wall of terracotta bricks, laid in a herringbone pattern, adds warmth and texture behind the ornate chairs. The space is anchored by a reclaimed wooden pillar, creating a home where every element has a story and a reason to be there.
This view shows how we balance different elements in one space. The family's antique sofa set is grounded by a patterned rug, while a reclaimed wooden pillar adds structural character. Above, a ceiling inset with traditional tiles draws the eye upward, creating a room that is rich in detail and history.
About Additional Work & Media Features
Often, the soul of a home hides in the corners we overlook. Whether it is a terrace turned zen garden or a dedicated study nook carved from a dead space, these areas carry as much weight as a full structural overhaul. I approach these specific projects with the same focus on material and texture, ensuring every small corner contributes to your home story rather than just filling a gap.
This collection serves as a window into the smaller, more nuanced aspects of my work. While large-scale structural changes form the foundation of what I do, it is the detail-oriented projects that often bring the most joy. You will find here everything from media rooms designed with deep, moody tones to functional reading nooks that maximize every square foot of an apartment.
My design philosophy remains constant regardless of scale. I avoid plastic, mass-produced materials in favor of real wood, local stone, and handmade tiles. You can see this reflected in the featured terrace gardens and powder rooms where we used geometric tiling to create a distinct mood.
I am also sharing some of the media features here, such as the 'Far From the Stone Street' project showcased by Buildofy. These features highlight our process—how we take a client's vision and join the dots with our sensibilities. These aren't just photos; they are stories of how we handle challenges, from shifting electrical points to integrating reclaimed furniture, always aiming for a result that feels lived-in and timeless.
If you see a style or a specific element in these images that resonates with you, let us talk about how to bring that same feeling into your own space.
