Maternity Photoshoot Portfolio
Capturing the quiet anticipation and genuine joy of your pregnancy. From elegant solo portraits to playful family moments, we keep it simple, relaxed, and real.
This is what pure joy looks like. I love including the whole family in maternity sessions, especially when a big brother is this excited to meet his new sibling. This beautiful family portrait was taken in my Delhi studio against a simple backdrop to keep the focus on their connection.
A solo maternity portrait can be incredibly powerful. Here, we used a classic off the shoulder black mermaid gown to create an elegant silhouette, highlighting the beautiful shape of her baby bump against a textured studio backdrop.
Sometimes the simplest moments are the most beautiful. This sweet, intimate portrait of an expecting couple was part of a casual studio session. Their coordinated white tops and denim create a timeless, relaxed look against a clean white background.
I love playing with different moods in my studio. For this portrait, we chose a deep emerald green off the shoulder dress and a dark, leafy backdrop to create a rich, artistic image that feels both intimate and dramatic.
A classic profile portrait is a must have in any maternity gallery. This image focuses entirely on the mother to be, with a simple black turtleneck dress beautifully defining her pregnancy silhouette against a soft, neutral backdrop.
Maternity photoshoots should be fun. I always encourage couples to bring their personalities into the session, and this playful moment with bubblegum resulted in a photo filled with laughter and genuine connection.
This is a classic couple's maternity portrait, capturing the quiet love and anticipation between partners. The soft blue gown and the simple, loving pose create a timeless and elegant image that they will cherish forever.
About Featured
If you are planning your session, the sweet spot is around 30 weeks when you have a visible bump but still feel comfortable moving around. We keep things simple at our Vasant Vihar and Connaught Place studios, offering a wide range of wardrobe options from classic fitted dresses to dramatic ruffled hero gowns, so you can focus entirely on enjoying the process without worrying about what to wear.
Planning a maternity photoshoot can feel overwhelming, but we aim to make it the easiest part of your pregnancy. Whether you want a solo session to celebrate your changing body or a family shoot to include your partner and older children, we adapt the session to your comfort level.
Our Approach to Maternity Sessions
We believe pregnancy photography should feel like you, not like a stiff, staged catalogue. Our studio setup in Delhi allows for complete control over lighting, privacy, and background selection. We focus on two main aesthetic styles:
- Clean & Minimal: Using textured canvas backdrops and soft, focused lighting to highlight the baby bump.
- Dramatic & Artistic: Using our signature Hero Gowns with long, voluminous trains for an editorial, elegant look.
Wardrobe & Preparation
You do not need to buy anything new. Our studio wardrobe is curated into two collections. Our 'Basic & Chic' closet includes versatile black bodycon dresses and solid gowns, while our 'Hero Gowns' feature tulle and ruffles for those grand, flowing shots. If you have a personal outfit that makes you feel most like yourself, we encourage you to bring it along.
Planning Your Shoot
We recommend booking your session when you are between 28 and 32 weeks pregnant. This ensures we capture that classic pregnancy glow before you reach the third-trimester fatigue. Our sessions range from 1.5 hours for solo portraits to 4 hours for full family sessions, allowing plenty of time for outfit changes and breaks. We provide extensive posing guidance throughout, so you never have to wonder where to stand or what to do with your hands.
